Next Directions

In Search of Genius currently serves over 600 third, fourth and fifth grade students at 30 schools in the Chicago-area’s most underserved communities. We anticipate expanding our reach, through both an in-school and after-school settings, to service over 2000 children within our core school group in the fall of 2011.

In addition, ISOG will expand the involvement of children in the program’s summer science camp. Currently, ISOG is in conversations with two major universities to bring their undergraduates and graduate students into staff positions.
